If you know a senior who is self isolating, call them a couple of times a day and make sure they're ok.

Whether you are social distancing, self-isolating or in quarantine, we see the following advice repeated by experts:

  1. Keep your distance from others (about 6 feet)
  2. Avoid large gatherings (more than 10 people)
  3. Wash your hands frequently (in and outside your home)
  4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  5. Wash down high touch surfaces (phones, door handles, banisters, steering wheels and keyboards)
  6. Older adults aged 70+ should stay at home other than leaving the home for essential items
  7. Avoid travel
  8. If you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath self-quarantine and call your doctor immediately
