MedicalAlert Devices

At-Home Landline - MedicalAlert's at-home landline medical alert device, is an older model, but is no less functional. The range from the help button to the base station is 1,000 feet, which is plenty.

At-Home No Landline - MedicalAlert offers an in-home medical alert system that connects to the monitoring station via a cellular signal, if you don't have a landline. It offers the same functionality as the at-home landline system.

  • Good solution for protection in your home, if you do not have a landline, if you do not leave your house alone.

Mobile - MedicalAlert's mobile device can be used in our outside the home - wherever you get an AT&T signal. The device is a little bulky, but it comes with 2 way voice and GPS. You will need to wear an additional pendent for fall detection.

HOW GOOD IS MedicalAlert's MONITORING?

MedicalAlert outsources its monitoring to Rapid Response, one of the largest 3rd party monitoring companies in the country. It offers multiple redundant locations, multi-lingual service and emergency certified agents. Agents will stay on the phone with clients until help arrives, if required. They will maintain a list of contacts and information that can be relayed to emergency personnel.

HOW GOOD IS MedicalAlert's CUSTOMER SERVICE?

MedicalAlert's customer service has a good reputation. While there are some issues with tracking returns that we can see from customer comments and complaints with the BBB, when the issues arise, it seems MedicalAlert has done a good job resolving the issue promptly and satisfactorily.

SHOULD YOU GET A MedicalAlert SYSTEM?

If you're looking for an affordable medical alert system from a large, reputable company, with a long track record of success, MedicalAlert is a solid choice.

We'd prefer if its mobile medical alert device offered an all-in-one solution, which included fall detection, without having to wear a separate pendant. We also find the mobile device a bit bulky. However its at-home systems work perfectly and are great for the price.
